Shorecrest Sophomore Shaves His Head to Support Friend With Cancer
Shorecrest Preparatory School is approaching the $1 million mark fundraising for The American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. Their 2015 campaign has taken on a special meaning as they support their friend and classmate, Olivia Rovin, as she battles Hodgkins Lymphoma. To date, Jordan Jacobson has personally raised more than $22,000 in support of his friend. Today, he challenged Headmaster Mike Murphy to shave their heads to raise even more money for the cause.
The Pinstripe PR team has pleased to welcome Bay News 9 and WFLA News Channel 8 to the shearing!
