Her presentation, entitled Building the Brand: Tools for Marketing Your Architecture Firm, is a guided discussion about the power of developing a distinct brand and marketing tactics to grow architecture practices.

“The AIA understands the unique challenges that face firm owners, and marketing is an area of consistent concern for many of them,” said Reichl. “A recent study indicates that the industry is showing signs of recovery, so it is important that firms prepare to contend in what will be an increasingly competitive marketplace.”

This one is for the birds (and dogs, and cats, and rabbits, and…)

spcalogo_largeI am so excited to learn that I was elected to the board of directors for SPCA Tampa Bay– the only open door shelter in Pinellas or Hillsborough Counties. This is an amazingorganization that accepts any animal, including animals that other shelters must turn away.

While I’ve always been generally aware of SPCA, I got to know a lot more about them when we selected the agency as one of our pro bono clients last year. We created a great campaign for them, and through it, became more impressed with the work they do for our community. A lot more work than they’re given credit for.

I was honored when they inquired about my interest in becoming a board member. After doing an in-depth tour of the impressive facilities (including the farm – my new happy place!) and talking with several current board members, I knew it was something that I would be passionate about – enough to dedicate the time to be effective.

Yoda approves, too.

Pinstripe helps fuel revival of one block of St. Petersburg’s Central Avenue

This St. Petersburg Times story highlights the latest progress with our little block of Central and the Crislip Arcade. Hard to believe this all started because we were tired of walking past (and smelling) the mess on our way to lunch everyday. Just a small example of what can be done when you take action. We are so excited about our new neighbors!

“Pinstripe Marketing at 695 Central Ave. initially approached Gaffney about cleaning up the area. “We found out through the Preservation Society that the Crislip was one of the last arcades in the city, so we really wanted to do something about that.”

 

Pinstripe Marketing President Named to SPCA Tampa Bay Board of Directors
